Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) is the governance of product information and processes from requirements and design through engineering changes, release and service. PLM helps teams manage product structures, versions and approvals. It is distinct from MES, which focuses on production execution, but linking PLM and MES can carry released product definitions into manufacturing.<\/p>\n\n\n
