Accevo marks 20 years of industrial software development
Accevo is celebrating its 20th anniversary, marking two decades of developing software for manufacturing companies and supporting production teams in their digital transformation.
Since its early years, the company has focused on one clear challenge: helping manufacturers gain better control over production through reliable data, standardised processes, and systems that connect machines, people, and operations.
More than 850 projects in Poland and international markets
Over the past 20 years, Accevo has completed more than 850 projects for manufacturers in Poland and international markets. Its solutions have been implemented across sectors including pharmaceuticals, FMCG, tobacco, packaging, and other process-driven industries where operational consistency, traceability, and performance monitoring are central to daily production.
From one conference room to a modern office
The company’s development has also been visible inside its own organisation. Michał Fulara, recalling Accevo’s early days, described how much the company has changed:
When we started nearly 20 years ago, the whole office could fit into a single conference room. Today, we operate across two floors in a modern glass building. That shift reflects not just team growth, but the complexity and scale of the projects we deliver.
Development of the Accevo Smart Factory platform
A major part of Accevo’s growth has been the development of the Accevo Smart Factory platform. Built around a unified data model, the platform allows manufacturers to begin with a specific operational need, such as OEE monitoring, micro stops analysis, paperless production, EBR, maintenance, quality, or energy monitoring, and then expand towards a broader MES/MOM environment.
This approach has become increasingly relevant as manufacturers look for systems that can be rolled out step by step, while still supporting long-term standardisation across multiple lines, departments, and sites.
Technology ready for scaling
In recent years, Accevo has continued to evolve its technology stack, moving towards a more cloud-ready and microservices-oriented architecture. This enables the company to support both modern production environments and factories where legacy machines still need to be connected to digital systems.
Practical digitalisation of production
As manufacturing companies face pressure to reduce costs, improve productivity, and make faster operational decisions, Accevo continues to focus on practical digitalisation: turning production data into information that teams can use on the shop floor, in management reporting, and across global operations.
Entering the third decade of business
Entering its third decade, Accevo remains focused on developing industrial software that helps manufacturers standardise execution, improve visibility, and scale digital production systems across their organisations.
The Dürr Group is one of the world’s leading mechanical and plant engineering firms with particular expertise in the technology fields of automation, digitalization, and energy efficiency. Its products, systems, and services enable highly efficient and sustainable manufacturing processes – mainly in the automotive industry, for producers of furniture and timber houses, as well as in the assembly of medical and electrical products and in battery production. The Dürr Group generated sales of just under €4.2 billion in 2025 and currently has around 17,500 employees and 123 business locations in 32 countries. Since the sale of its environmental technology division at the end of October 2025, the business has been consolidated into three divisions:
Automotive: painting technology, final assembly, testing and filling technology as well as production technology for battery electrodes
Industrial Automation: assembly and test systems for automotive components, medical devices, and consumer goods as well as balancing technology solutions
Woodworking: machinery and equipment for the woodworking industry
