Looking for a solution?

A digital twin is a digital representation of a physical asset, product or process that is connected to data about its real-world counterpart. Depending on its purpose, it may support monitoring, analysis or simulation. The term covers different levels of detail and connection: a 3D model alone is not necessarily a digital twin, and a twin does not automatically control the physical system.
