Looking for a solution?

Rework is additional processing of a nonconforming product or material so it can meet its original requirements. It should follow an approved instruction and documented quality decision, with identification, traceability and any necessary reinspection or retesting. Rework differs from repair, which may make an item usable without restoring full conformity to the original specification, and from scrap, which is removed from intended use. The permitted route depends on the product and applicable rules.
