Computerized Maintenance Management System - FAQ
La tasa de fallos de las máquinas se puede calcular utilizando el tiempo medio entre fallos (MTBF) y el tiempo medio de reparación (MTTR). MTBF es el tiempo medio que funciona una máquina antes de averiarse. MTTR es el tiempo medio necesario para reparar y reiniciar la máquina.
Cuanto mayor sea el MTBF, menor será la tasa de fallos. Cuanto mayor sea el MTTR, menor será el MTBF.
Las tasas de fallo suelen expresarse como porcentaje del total de horas de funcionamiento o como número total de fallos por cada 100 horas de funcionamiento.
MTBF son las siglas de «tiempo medio entre fallos». Es una medida del tiempo medio de funcionamiento de una máquina o sistema antes de que se produzca un fallo.
El MTBF mide la fiabilidad de los equipos y se calcula dividiendo el tiempo total de funcionamiento por el número de fallos. El MTBF es una medida importante en ingeniería de fiabilidad, ya que puede utilizarse para predecir cuándo fallará una máquina, lo que permite realizar un mantenimiento preventivo antes de que falle.
