Looking for a solution?

Clean-in-Place (CIP) is a method of cleaning the internal surfaces of suitable tanks, vessels, pipework or other process equipment without routine dismantling. A defined sequence may circulate water, detergent and rinse media while controlling time, temperature, flow and chemical concentration. The cleaning method and verification must fit the residues, equipment and required cleanliness. CIP removes contamination; it is not the same as Sterilization-in-Place (SIP).
