Accevo, part of the Dürr Group, has completed the implementation of Smart Factory solutions for MOWI – the global leader in farmed salmon and seafood processing. The project covered 14 MOWI facilities across Europe and the United States, spanning more than 100 production lines.
The scope included the deployment of the Accevo MES system, dedicated operator panels, advanced analytics, and real-time production visualisation. The solution was directly integrated with machines and automation systems to collect real-time data on production, quality, and maintenance. This enabled operators, team leaders, and managers to make faster, more informed decisions – improving OEE, reducing downtime, and ensuring consistent product quality.
A unified digital infrastructure has been established in all sites – from smaller processing units to large-scale production centres. Modules for production digitalisation, OEE analysis, and downtime detection have replaced manual reporting and fragmented IT tools. Integration with ERP systems via MOWI’s Snowflake applications ensured seamless information flow across decision-making levels.
The project has further strengthened Accevo’s position as a trusted technology partner in the food and FMCG sector, following successful implementations at other international manufacturing groups.
